Rice and Jungle - Jungle Rice or Perhaps Rice Jungle

A little bit late, but here it is: the story of my short but busy trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. It was a very interesting journey with its share of troubles and splendours. It included stops at Saigon, the temples of Angkor, Phnom Penh and a small journey on the mighty Mekong river and its delta. Travel Update

I’ve now been away for five days, and I’m still alive. For the moment I’m in Phnom Penh and have just had a chicken curry for dinner.

Almost Time to Go

I got my visa, packed my things and I’m ready to set off on my adventure through the Mekong. This is the first time I’m doing this kind of “backpacking” trip, so it’ll be interesting to see how it turns out, if it becomes the adventure and experience it is set out to be. Now I just hope that the trains will run when I’m going to the airport tomorrow, and not be stopped by the wind as they were this weekend.
